Anticipation is building in Kolkata as the city gears up for the 'Laksh Kanthe Geetapath' program scheduled to take place at Brigade Maidan next Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to grace the event, making it a highly awaited gathering. Adding to the grandeur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also been extended an invitation to join the Geeta Path.
A remarkable surge in the sales of Srimad Bhagavad Gita books has been observed in the lead-up to the event. The demand for the sacred scripture has shattered records, surpassing even the ticket sales for matches at the iconic Eden Gardens during the World Cup. Notably, more than 75 thousand copies of the Bhagavad Gita were sold within the last 150 hours in the College Street area alone, indicating a widespread enthusiasm for the spiritual text.
With two days remaining until the event, organizers are optimistic that the sales figures will soar into the lakhs, reflecting the city's profound interest and participation in the upcoming 'Laksh Kanthe Geetapath.'
